USB peripheral issues?

I hackintosh'd recently and I'm having a few USB issues, and I have no idea what I'm missing or what could be the cause of the problem. I have a Corsair k65 keyboard and m65 RGB mouse.

Specs

Installed kexts: FakeSMC of course, a Realtek kext, and USBXHCI

Here's the issues I'm having

  • Most of the time either the keyboard or mouse will light up, but don't work when booted to the login screen, until I unplug/replug them

  • Occasionally I'd have this issue where when clicking and dragging the mouse will jump to the to left corner and stay there until I let go

  • Occasionally I'd have this issue where all of a sudden the hack will freeze for a few seconds, let go for a few secs, repeat until reboot when just using the computer (not sure if this is related to this)

  • When going into system prefs > keyboard > change keyboard type, a dialog saying the keyboard can't be recognized pops up. It'll ask me to press the z key on my keyboard, and once pressed it'll say that the keyboard can't be recognized

What I've tried

  • Installing GenericUSBXHCI.kext (not sure if spelt right) - didn't change anything

  • Using "CKB", a community port of Corsair Utility Engine - didn't seem to fix anything

Never really found anyone with the same issue who had a solution. Any ideas?
