Are the following PC specs hackintosh compatible, and what are good things to know?

Hello, /r/hackintosh.

I've wanted to make my PC into a hackintosh for a very long time, and now I'm doing it. This is the very first time, I'll be making one.

My PC specs are:

MSI Z97 SLI Krait Edition, Intel Core i7-4790K, 4.0Ghz, MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GD5 OC (4GB), Kingston HyperX 2x8GB 2400 Mhz, Kingston 240GB SSD V300 (and another 3TB HDD if needed)

If the above specs can be used for a hackintosh - preferably High Sierra -, please let me know about any pre-cautions etc.
