Hey there,
I’ve had my Hackintosh for a while now and everything has been working fine. By default, my PC boots into Windows 10, and if I wanted to boot into Hackintosh I would simply press F8 to open the Boot Menu and select the appropriate partition to get into Clover.
Today, as I was working in macOS, I wanted to change the time Clover waits to auto-boot from 3s to 10s. Problem is, I also ended up changing the damn Default Boot value. Now whatever I do I simply cannot boot back into Windows at all - neither by selecting the SSD it’s on from the Boot Menu nor by booting from Clover.
What I’ve tried:
- Selecting ‘Boot Windows from [partitionName] - there’s more than one option in Clover
- Setting Default Boot to ‘LastBootedVolume’ and trying the above
- Setting Default Boot to ‘no selection’ or simply deleting it
- Setting Default Boot to ‘Untitled’ because my Windows EFI partition shows up as ‘Untitled’ in macOS
- Changing the ‘Legacy’ value to any of the available options, including ‘no option’
- Simply opening ‘config.plist’ and trying to delete the Boot Options from there (which shouldn’t really yield different results from doing it in Clover Configurator)
- Disconnecting the Hackintosh drive and booting. It just constantly takes me into the BIOS.
I’m now out of options and pretty pissed that I can’t get into Windows. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks in advance!
