At one point I had a hackintosh dual boot on my MSI Z97 Gaming 7 motherboard. After major issues with trying to update for Pascal compatibility (clover refused to update), I uninstalled it and went back to a pure Windows machine. However, I'm looking to build a new computer and wanted some advice.
The vast majority of what I do is on Windows. However, I want a Mac again so that I can run Logic X for music production. Do I build a Hackintosh that's better than my daily machine just for music for the sake of simplicity, or build a new PC for daily use and try to get Hackintosh running on the Z97?
I find it hard to justify my occasionally used Hackintosh being newer than my everyday pc, but I don't know if its worth the headache trying to use this motherboard again.
TIA.
