Apple to Revamp Privacy Controls to Comply With New European Rules [Report]

Apple is working to revamp its privacy controls to comply with strict new European rules that go into effect May 25th, reports Bloomberg.

The company's webpage for managing Apple IDs will be updated in the coming months to let users download a copy of all their data stored with the company. It will also let customers correct personal information, temporarily deactivate their account, and delete it.

Apple is taking these steps to comply with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation.
