Is it worth it to fixed Power Management?

I got a working vanilla install of High Sierra but never worked on fixing power management/sleep.

Quick specs based on memory:
i7-4770

MSI B85m-p33 v2
16gb ddr3 ram
gtx 1070 Ti

I'm on dual boot with windows and lately I've been using the macOS more. One annoying thing is lights (keyboard, headset, case lights) won't turn off and I think this is because of the broken power management.
