Photoshop Breaks After Mojave Update, Slow, Lag, and Crashes

So I updated to Mojave to get dark mode and all the other bells and whistles, but thats where the nightmare begins.

Booted up Photoshop CC 2018, fixed the security thing, but then everything is slow af. For example a simple brush stroke takes 5 seconds to appear on the image, I can't see selections at all, and then when I try inputing text it just crashes.

Updated to CC 2019, same problem.

Everything else seems to work fine, even managed to get iGPU + dGPU working for Final Cut Pro X.

Googled a bit and it seems that I'm the only one running into this problem, any thoughts? thanks!
