Random GPU freeze

I've been getting sporadic display patterns resulting in a system freeze. General research sugests this is a GPU issue. This would surprise me as this is a 4 week old GPU. Could this be attributed to the hackintosh install? If so, anyone had this and managed to diagnose and fix it?

Asus Strix OC RX580

Intel i7 8700

M.2 Nvme WD Black
