Would an Ivy Bridge + Metal compatible GPU make a decent video editing machine?

I have a spare Dell Optiplex 7010 with an i7 3770 that I want to put to good use.

I know the 3770 is still a very good processor and it runs Win10 Enterprise really well from an SSD.

Before I waste a few hours of my life Hacking it, I just wanted to know if anyone has experience of running a Mojave compatible AMD GPU with an older processor

I occasionally edit 1080p - 4K ProRes flies and I’m hoping that Mojave offers some form of acceleration.

If not, then I’ll look to resurrect my PITA Skylake build!
