Z370M-D3H, RX580, i7-8700, Bluetooth, Wifi and Audio working! Need help for USB/Sleep.

Finally, hackintosh.

The build. I know, there is little to no cable management but the case is really small....

Since this is my first build after many years I was a little bit nervous at the beginning. Researched on the topic for about 2-3 months and then finally decided to use the following components. I needed a machine to do some photo editing, working (mostly programming) and gaming.

• Mobo: Gigabyte Z370M-D3H, ~119 EUR
  • WiFi/Bluetooth: Broadcom BCM94352Z DW1560 6XRYC M.2 card + adapter (see note below), ~50 EUR
• Graphics: 8GB Sapphire Radeon RX 580, ~199 EUR
• CPU: Intel Core i7 8700, ~310 EUR
  • Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock 4, ~55 EUR
• PSU: Corsair RM650X, ~98 EUR (see note below)
• SSD: 500GB Samsung 970 Evo M.2, ~100 EUR
• RAM: 16GB (1x 16384MB) Crucial Ballistix Sport LT DDR4-2400 , ~94 EUR
• Case: Jonsbo UMX3, ~ 120 EUR

The price of the entire build was below 1200 EUR, which I find reasonable.

Notes on the build:

• Be careful if you choose this PSU and this case. They don't play well together since the power cable on the back will be stretched quite a lot as there is not a lot of space to play with. I'd suggest you to pick a smaller one OR to buy an angled C19-C20 adapter to pass the cable on the side. I was actually surprised to see many people on the web using the same case-psu combination and not saying anything...meh....

What worked out of the box:

• Almost everything, I was actually surprised to get the first boot just fine :) The configuration/BIOS options that I found online, even for different setups, worked just fine.
• Only note is that when I first started the computer the output from the graphic card was NOT working. But then as soon as the installer of OSX started the HDMI output from the graphic card started to work and the HDMI from the Mobo turned to a purple tint...maybe some driver for the internal graphic is not working but since I'm using the graphic card I don't have time to fix it.

What I had to fix:

• Audio: that was pretty easy. I just installed the AppleALC kext and then inject with 1 and after a reboot it worked. You have to select Internal Speaker but then both outputs on the back and front of the case work perfectly. Still didn't try with HDMI audio...
• Ethernet: again this was pretty easy by just copying the Mausi kext and rebooting.
• WiFi/BT: as my case had no included WiFi/BT I bought the Broadcom BCM94352Z thinking of just plugging it into the MoBo on the M2 slot. I was a fool! Apparently the M2 of the MoBo is not the same M2/NGFF of the card so I had to buy a PCIE adapter (Fenvi FV102), mount the card in, connect the additional USB cable for the BT, install the relative kexts and everything is working. I can use WiFI and a Bluetooth magic mouse at the same time!

What I still have to fix:

• USB3. All the ports (on the back and the 2 USB3 on the front of the case) work BUT I just noticed that the speed is pretty slow when connecting USB3 devices (I get a max. of about 30-40 MB/s). This may be connected to the fact that if I look on System Report regardless of the port that I use everything seem to be connected to the same 'USB3 Hub'. This shows as 'Maximum speed of 480 Mb/s' , which is far away from the USB3 standard. So I guess I have to fix it with a SSDT if want all the ports to work well. Any advice from experienced users is welcome. I've seen some guides on YouTube/forums but it looks like a really long and tedious work so I'm not sure I have time to do it now. I was hoping to find a SSDT already done for this MoBo....
• Sleep. Before I installed the WiFi/BT adapter actually it looked like sleep was working ok. I could put the computer into sleep and then wake it again by pressing on the keyboard. However sometimes I got a kernel panic so I'm not sure whether that setup was working 100%. Now that I have installed the WiFi/BT card it looks like the computer goes into sleep and then wake up again...so I may need to fix this. I guess this is connected with the USB ports and the remapping going into the SSDT so I may fix two problems at once. We'll see.
• I think I'm missing many options/kexts in Clover Configurator but my approach at the moment is to change something ONLY when I really have to. Since my build is working right now I don't feel like playing around with the settings too much risking to have a machine that doesn't boot anymore. I still have to figure out how to do proper backup of the EFI partition and how to restore it if something goes wrong.
• Install an SSD with Windows 10 on it and configure dual boot. I want to use Windows basically for gaming. I've seen many posts/guides discouraging the use of Windows on an Hackintosh in dual boot so I'm still kinda reluctant...
• Install an additional 16 GB of RAM.
• Nothing else.
