Difficulty with 10.14.14 Install

Hello all,

I tried to update my OS and I've been having a hard time with it. I have a Gigabyte Z370N Wifi Motherboard with an Intel i5-8400 processor using a Samsung evo 970 250 GB SSD and an 8 TB HDD for my main storage. Everything was working fine before the update.

I installed all of the latest versions of kexts. I use AppleALC, AtherosE2200Ethernet, CodecCommander, FakeSMC, IntelMausiEthernet, Lilu, NullCPUPowerManagement, RealtekRTL8111, SmallTreeIntel82576, USBInjectAll, and WhateverGreen. I have a custom USB patch that I made.

The Clover version I'm running if 4586. I've seen somewhere else that not updating to the newest (4910) may have been my problem. I can't find a way to install the newest version on my main drive despite a few attempts.

I tried to install the update through the software update function in the Mac OS after updating all of my kexts and backing up all of my stuff. It didn't mount an extra disk image like it did for the last update, though.

I have a bootable backup on my external and that's what I've been using to get up and running. Its using the older version of the Mac 10.14.13. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get around this.

Do I need to wipe my original drive and restore from my back-up? Is there a way to fix the clover installer after booting from my external?

I'm sure there's lots of necessary information I'm leaving out, but I just can't figure out what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
