Is there any laptop with a secondary GPU compatible for passthrough?

As a former Macbook user for years, switching all my development work to macOS VMs has been less than optimal. However, I am not going back and I would like to find any way around this.

I absolutely need GPU acceleration, which led me consider getting a desktop with a secondary GPU for passthrough, on a KVM setup similar to what I currently use. However, this is a no-go for me. I haven't owned a desktop in more than 10 years since I need the form factor. This also rules out external GPUs.

Unfortunately, the other possible solutions have not really been developed much. While passing through the Intel GPU should be possible in theory, I haven't been able to find anyone achieving progress, and GVT-G support also looks like is not going to happen.

Which leaves me wondering, again, whether there is any single laptop currently available that has a secondary GPU compatible for passthrough using KVM. I remember reading that Optimus is not compatible on various hackintosh forums but I am still left wondering why passing though a secondary GPU that is identical to any of the models used on Macbooks wouldn't be possible.

Finally, if all else fails, is a dual laptop setup - one running my VMs and another being a hackintosh - the only possible solution out of this mess? Would it ever be possible to control both from one keyboard only?

Any thoughts that would help me make sense out of this and finally put it to rest in my head would be very much appreciated. Thank you
