Hackintosh pre-build for Logic Pro X

Hello everyone!

Next few days I ll build my first hackintosh After giving it a lot of thought, these components seem okay, quickly available and rather cheap:

9600K + Thermaltake Riing Silent 12 Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X
Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16GB 2400 ADATA XPG Gammix S5 256GB M2 SSD Samsung 860 EVO 1TB Seasonic S12II-520 Bronze 520W Samsung CR50 27” 60Hz ASUS BT400 USB Bluetooth

I dont have a lot of money to spend but my 2011 Imac, stable and almost mint condition as it is doesn t help me with my workflow anymore.

I plan on doing a vanilla install of High Sierra to use exclusively for Logic pro X. I expect the new build to be a lot faster than my Imac(2011 i5 8gb ddr3), even if it s on a budget, I ll use 24bit 44.1 khz, medium VST with the bulk of my tracks mainly comprised of audio. I will continue my tradition of not using WI-FI. I do not plan to update the OS after it is stable, I ll consider adding extra RAM at some point.

Most important besides it working is if the ASUS BT400 is going to give me trouble!

One of my worries is if performance won t be as expected due to my choice of not getting a dedicated video card, is that right? Also, I have a really good PC case from 2010 or so, I m worried that the motherboard screws would be placed somewhere else 😅, making it obsolete though doubtful, anyone has experience with this? I feel like keeping it because it s convenient and of high quality, the slot for the power source is as the bottom and all. I can t emphasize how much I want this to work, it s of utmost importance for me and my livelihood. I know I m going cheaper with some components or the screen, read tens of reviews before deciding on power source and M.2 SSD. All essential components are from tonymacx86, save the M.2 drive, I want that to keep the system and LPX on it, projects and samples will be kept on the EVO 860, for safety.

Thanks everyone, I m very grateful to anyone that shares some wisdom.
