Hey all I'm typing from my Thinkpad S1 Yoga 12 Hackintosh.
Intel Core i7 5600u Integrated Graphics 5500 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAM Broadcom Bluetooth/WIFI Adapter bcm94352z Clover rev. 4871 Im currently running Mojave 10.14 (no updates)
The other day I was trying to upgrade to Catalina to no avail. These are the steps that I took:
- Backed up my Mojave install
- Updated to newest versions of my kexts
- Created a bootable USB with the newest version of clover and the Catalina installer.
- Copied over kexts from current Efi to new Catalina installer EFI
I attempted to boot the Catalina usb to no avail. There was no information on the computer past a blinking cursor. After hours of moving around different kexts and trying to troubleshoot I'm at a complete loss. Does anyone have anything that will help? I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
