Touchpad read as Mouse

I have a laptop running Mojave, and I only have one problem with it left. The darn touchpad.

Currently, the touchpad settings say that it is looking for a touchpad. The mouse settings have settings in them, even though there is no mouse plugged in. This leads me to believe that the touchpad is being read as a mouse. I have no gesture or scrolling support, only moving the mouse and tap to click.

The touchpad is a PS2 pad (I think because when I remove the PS2 kext it doesn't work), and I am pretty stumped on what to do. The touchscreen is being read as an ink display, which is the desired input.

I only have the PS2 kext, as that is the one that made the keyboard, touchpad, and touchscreen fuction.
