Hi Everyone,

As the title of this post suggests, I'm looking to upgrade my Mac Pro Tower (Early 2009) to run Mojave OS.

To give a little background, I bought this tower from a music studio I used to intern at. So it came stacked with 24 GB of RAM, three 1TB drives, one 2TB drive, and two old PCiE cards for Pro Tools HD. Currently it's running on Mountain Lion and uses the original video card with DVI inputs. I was planning to use the rig at my own studio, but then COVID struck. So I took it home & decided to make it my quarantine project.

In addition to upgrading to Mojave, I also want to upgrade the graphics card to one that has HDMI inputs, and also a card that allows you to plug-in Thunderbolt-2 external drives. I know this is an expensive project, and I have a little bit to spend, but ideally I would like to stay on the more inexpensive side of things. Can anyone help me out?
