This is kinda weird.
For a while now I've been noticing that I only get audio from the left channel. I had hoped the switching from Clover to OC would address this, but it hasn't. I've followed the Dortania 'fix audio' guide and looked around elsewhere and so far I haven't found a solution. In the grand scheme of things, I can live with this, but I would really like to fix it if I can. The only thing I haven't tried so far is VoodooHDA, which I have heard mixed things about. I am reasonably sure that my speakers are not the problem.
AppleALC looks ok, I show outputs in the sound control panel for two of the outputs on the mobo, but they both are only left-channel.
My system is like this:
- Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 7 mobo w/ 1220 audio (layout 11)
- i7 8700k CPU
- 48GB RAM
- Fenvi 919
- Radeon 580
