Here is the deal. I have a pc with an i7 3960x 6 core 12 thread cpu (around ryzen 5 1600 performance), 32gb ddr3 1600mhz cl9 ram, an nvme ssd (works on x79 through modded bios) and a gtx 970. Because I have an nvidia gpu I have to use a kvm. I also have an m1 macbook air with 16gb ram and 8 core gpu. Because of the overhead of using a vm, should I use my pc or would it be more worthwhile to just hook up my macbook air to my keyboard, mouse, and monitor?
