Hey I decided to step into hackintosh world and this is going to be my first attempt.
Normally I use windows 10 and my pc specs are:
Msi B550 Tomahawk Ryzen 3600 RTX 3060Ti 16 gigabyte 3000mhz ram
As far as I learned in this subreddit, my every pc part is compatible except the CPU and the GPU. Correct me if I’m wrong tho. However, I have another old gpu that I don’t currently use. It is an Asus GT 710. So if I use this gpu and buy a new cpu and mobo then the problem is solved.
I want to have both windows 10 and Mac Os Big Sur. My intention is to keep my 3060Ti on the upper pci-e slot and plug GT 710 on my second pci-e slot. So I want Windows to use my 3060Ti and Mac to use my GT 710. This way I will be able to game on windows and quickly switch to mac when I don’t play games. Is this possible?
Lastly one more question, will GT 710 perform so bad? Will my mac experience be laggy with this graphics card?
