I was thinking of installing hackintosh on a laptop and giving it to my mother as a gift as she uses mac and needs an upgrade but I dont want her to spend the extra cash that buying an apple product needs. Would it work in the long term or would it cause problems and be too hard to maintain for someone not very computer literate?
