I've upgraded from a Kepler GT 730 (GK208B) to a GTX 660 Ti (GK104).
When I use the 660 Ti, after the verbose boot log, I get a black screen, presumably as the Apple logo and progress bar display. After a short delay, the mouse cursor appears.
When I move the mouse cursor between displays, I can see that my display positions have applied correctly. Furthermore, if I put in the 730 and connect just one display to it, I can see that the displays connected to the 660 Ti are recognised as normal, and I can even adjust their brightnesses over DDC/CI with MonitorControl.
Does anyone know what's going on here?
