Has anyone had luck creating a hackintosh using the AirTop 3? https://fit-iot.com/web/products/airtop3/airtop3-specifications/
I'm looking to dual boot with MacOS as my work environment and Windows for gaming
CPU: Intel Xeon E-2278GE
GPU: Intel UHD 630 (I'll get the optional GeForce GTX 1660 Super option but presumably disable it and just use the iGPU under MacOS)
RAM: I'd purchase this separately on newegg or Amazon. Doesn't seem to be any specific requirements for memory
Storage: Same as above - I'll purchase separately 2x Sabrent 1 TB NVMe since it uses the Phison controller that is more compatible vs. the Samsung EVO that Compulab provides. One drive for windows, one for MacOS.
Motherboard: Unknown - I think Compulab is using a custom MB. Chipset is Intel C246
Audio Codec: Realtek ALC1150
Ethernet Card: Intel I219, Intel I210
Wifi/BT Card: Intel AC 8260, 2 antennas
Based on reading the dortania guides, the Wifi/BT card will not work for sure (I'll purchase something else that is compatible) and not sure on the Audio Codec: Realtek ALC1150 but it seems the other components are compatible I think? Although the motherboard is a big unknown since its custom built but it does use the Intel C246 chipset if that makes a difference?
I realize this machine has a ton of I/O which will likely not all work under MacOS which is fine (hopefully the USB though). I'm mainly interested in this machine as a silent workstation and medium/light gaming PC and I need it to be fanless as my work environment is in a garage.
Thanks
