2013 iMac - is it safer to stay on Catalina or use OCLP to upgrade to Ventura?

This iMac will be my main PC, will probably have important information on it. Should I stay on Catalina or use OCLP to upgrade? I'll be only visiting reputable websites and installing few verified apps on it. Is there anything I should know to stay secure as possible?
