I’ve been daily driving Sonoma on my MB pro 2017 W touchbar using a nightly OCLP 1.1.0 and everything has been great. I have just updated OCLP to the official 1.1.0 and that’s where the problem started. After the update was complete, i tried inputing my password but it didn’t work so naturally, i selected the option to reset it via icloud. The laptop then shuts down and shows a stop 🛑 sign and after about 30 seconds, it shows the globe sign which i have read that it will attempt to install the OS via the internet. This means Sonoma will be deleted along with my files right?
I have tried pressing the option key which takes me to a bootpicker where I proceeded to select OC efi but as soon as i do that, the screen goes blank for about 10 seconds and the stop sign appears
