Laptop backlight not working after updating to Sonoma (among other issues)

Hi, since I updated to Mac OS 14 Sonoma, I've been having a few issues.

Notably, the Wi-Fi wasn't working (I got that fixed), the trackpad gestures don't work (it works as a "normal" trackpad for now) and worst of all... the backlight of my laptop's screen doesn't work. It used to work after 3 minutes of waiting after logging in but that changed after I modified my config.plist to the proper device-id for my iGPU (Intel UHD 620). Also, changing it to the proper parameters for my iGPU removed the functionnality for USB-C display output... Here is some information about my config:

Laptop: Dell Latitude 5400

CPU: i5 8365u

RAM: 32GB 2400MHz

GPU: Intel UHD 620
