I’ve been having an issue with my internal hard drives - whenever I open a folder on any of the 6 internal hard drives, I’m stuck on a “Loading…” screen for a while. The more files in the folder, the longer it takes. Folders with hundreds of files in them can take 60 seconds to load.
The weird thing is, in terms of transfer speeds, the drives are working normally. Copying files to or from the drives is as fast as expected, and opening files is instant. It’s only opening folders that’s slow.
It also feels like it’s getting worse, the waiting times are getting longer and longer. The problem didn’t occur suddenly, it seems to have crept in over time.
All the hard drives are formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled), GUID partition map.
And I have DriveDX installed, which reports all the drives as working perfectly.
I’m using the latest version of HFSPlus.efi from acidanthera’s github.
