After much trial and error, I was finally able to upgrade my system to Sonoma (more here), but I've noticed bits of random lag while doing regular tasks. When typing into certain applications/websites or iMessage will lag behind then catch back up, some drop-down menus will take a second or two to load, just little things like that. It was enough to prompt me into running Geechbench tests and my system is significantly slower on Sonoma.
