Just did a fresh install on a z77x-UD5H w/ Nvidia Quadro K4000. Been hacking since Chmln/MBst days on the same machine! Worked my way to Clover and i've been on OC for the last couple of years. I am wondering if I can get some clarification on a few things:
- I've never had an issue with USB ports - do I really have to map them? I'm so confused by the process. I tried Windows USBMapping and Mac. I scan everything, but I don't understand what I'm really doing. I'm saying which ports I need, or which ports I don't need? Then I have to indicate which are Type 3 vs 2, etc? Do I have to write down everything as I'm plugging into the ports, while running the script?
- I use a Scarlet audio interface, and never use onboard audio. Do I need to bother with fixing Apple ALC898? Right now, gfxutil shows no HDEF results. I'm assuming it's somehow renamed to HDAU? Happy to drop this if I don't need it.
