Mac went to sleep while creating bootable USB. Problem?

As the title says, I was creating a bootable USB stick with my MacBook Pro. I was in the terminal, as instructed on Apple's own website. I think it was during the stage where the terminal says "copying files" or something like that, and it was around 40% completed. The laptop then went to sleep. I woke it up, and it seemed to finish the flashing without any issues.

But I wanted to come here and just double check. If the computer flashing the USB goes to sleep in the middle of the process, does that corrupt anything on the USB stick? Should I erase it and start over?
