| Hi, I'm trying to install Ventura on my Lenovo IdeaPad 330. The booting goes through all the verbose stuff and then suddenly stops on a kernel panic. I am attaching a video of it booting (pardon my accent and my camera please) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=34gWNwQCs54 When I watched this video on 0.2x, I noticed that at some point, it started throwing out a bunch of shared_region_start_address_failed() errors. In the middle of these errors were messages that mentioned "mounted", "created ramdisk" etc. Then it says "about to call the FIPS_POST function" (at 2:06). Literally 2 seconds later it goes into the same shared region errors. Then starts outputting a buncha com.apple.xpc.launchd stuff, and more of those shared region errors. Then, at 2:13, we start to see a LOT of "system error, failed to bootstrap path" errors and STILL MORE F***ING shared region errors. Then around 2:30 we begin to see many com.apple.xpc.launchd messages again, sometimes it says "uncorking source exec upfront" & sometimes it throws "failed lookup" errors. Finally, it hangs at 2:37. Sometimes it says "please visit panic.apple.com", sometimes it dies before that. (See attached image) I don't understand what any of this sh** means, I just wrote it out here to highlight some important (or so I think) parts for debugging. [link] [comments] |
