Currently, my macOS is 14.2.1 and my MacBook Pro is the 9.1 MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012) which is topped out with 16 GB RAM and SSD hard drive.
Do you know how could I fix these? I attached a video showing the issue. As you can see, the screen goes blank when I'm selecting text. Once I finish selecting, the screen restores but this makes quite hard to precisely select text.
