Hey guys I have finally done my first AMD APU hackintosh, I will say it was a pain to set up… Lets start with the specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 5500U GPU: Vega 8 Graphics(iGPU) Audio Codec: ALC 236 Network: Incompatible Realtek card, therefore using USB Tethering, will invest in intel card soon… Touchpad: ELAN OS: MacOS Monterey/Windows 11

Whats working: Dual Booting Camera Touchpad Gestures Semi-Wifi by tethering iServices Sleep

Whats not working: Microphone(have not tested every alc ID, got lucky with the first one having audio) Time is wrong, minutes is correct but the hours are off even when its the correct country…(probably an easy fix) Bluetooth(incompatible card) Accessing my EFI from MacOS side due to it being created on windows

Workarounds used: Had to use unplugged command from github to use a full installed in Recovery since I had no Wi-Fi access.

Had to use smokeless to up my VRAM to 2GB since it was stuck at 512MB which resulted in a kernal panic when I run any video or website that is intensive.

One problem I had was multi booting; I was first booting off a USB hdd but then decided to actually install it on my NVME drive with Windows on. And apparently Windows should only be installed after MacOS but I didnt want to do the work of backing up Windows then restoring so I outright shrunk my Windows partition so that I had a 150gb space for my MacOS. Then ran recovery from a USB and installed macos on that partition… but I noticed it had no EFI at ALL. So I had to resize a partition AGAIN, to use it for a EFI. Put the EFI folders on the partition. But my laptop didnt pick up this efi, so I had to use smokeless to change the boot order and add MacOS as a boot config then change it to 1st priority and boom. The bootloader for macos loads up first!

Overall Success, just got to create a open canopy folder so I can have a nice bootloader menu. And maybe upgrade to Sonoma. But a bit wary due to the bugs and slowdowns that may occurs Also a big thank you to the AMD and r/hackintosh discord server for the help when I got stuck :)
