Is this a good strategy to avoid problems or breakage? Tracking the versions as they become EOL? Currently stuck on Big Sur. I'm dual booting Linux, but I'd like to keep the newest problem-free OS (Monterey?) on the other side. Homebrew might always be dodgy, but there's MacPorts. And it seems a lot of these iCloud features continue to be supported going back. I may not care about being perpetually behind.
