Update on my previous post about a 2008 MBA and OCLP

I have been testing macOS Big Sur on my late 08’ MacBook Air and honestly after using it for a bit i came to the following conclusions,

it’s not terrible in terms of speed even at 1.6ghz and only 2gb of ram. The speed may be better if I wasn’t booting from a external nvme drive. In terms of heat, obviously it’s going to get hot since the poor 1.6ghz C2D is at 85 - 100% usage most of the time even while being idle.
