How to re-format USB to use as OCLP installer after it has already been used as one

I saw somewhere that the EFI settings of the USB change when using it as an OpenCore installer usb, and that there is a special way to format it if I want to use the USB as an OpenCore installer usb for say, a newer version of MacOS. Is this true?

Or would we just build and install a new version of OpenCore on the USB like we did the first time? TIA!
