The Battery was not charging anymore, Magsafe Plug was orange, and plug pulled it went off immediately. Battery status said "service needed", even though only about 100 charging cycles showed.
SMC (and every other reset) did not change that. Fresh install of Monterey, the last officially supported MacOS did also not work.
Now that I've gotten a patched Sequoia to work, all of a sudden the battery charged to 100% again, and it seems to work fine, even wehn the status of the battery still says "service needed".
Whats going on here? Is that safe to use (and charge)?
