Hi, I own an iMac 27” mid 2010 that’s currently running MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6. OCLP has my attention for a while but I’m not sure if things will work out. I’m aware of its shortcomings, like lack of Metal support and USB 1 issues, but I want to know if it’s a good idea to install OCLP on my iMac and what I can expect from the performance and what the best version is for me (MacOS). Has anyone of you ever updated an iMac 27” mid 2010? And if yes, how well did it turned out? Are there any issues that I should know? It’s a maxed out iMac with quad-core Intel i7 (8 threads) on 2.93 GHz, ATi Radeon HD5750 1 GB VRAM, 16 GB DDR3 RAM, 2 TB HDD, 500 GB SSD. I would like to hear some thoughts and I’m also open for suggestions. Thanks.
