I installed Sequoia with OCLP but because the machine comes with a 1TB spinner drive, it's dog slow. Like, it takes 2 minutes from login to the Finder being useful (beachballing before that)
I am pretty sure this has to do with the spinner drive, since I haven't encountered issues like these since I upgraded to High Sierra on a spinner drive (changing to an SSD did the trick). I have plenty of RAM (40GB) so that's not it.
What kind of PCIe SSD can I put in this machine? i'm a bit confused as it seems it doesn't take just anything (I think M2 drives don't work).
