I'm on my 12th clean install at this point, wen for Monterey on my MBP10.1 and followed Mr. Macintosh's Monterey video to the t. I have installed all post-install root patches (it says nothing left to be installed, I checked), and after the laptop runs with everything seeming ok, eventually a notifications pop-up appears on the top right. And when I try to either close this notification, or select in 'options' how I want it to behave next time, my mouse freezes while doing that and a spinning wheel appears that will not go away no matter what.
Exactly the same happened on my previous installs, and eventually this led to my computer only being able to be used for max 30min before something pops up on the top right (this applies to various apps, iMessage, etc, not just limited to one), and then the spinning wheel just continues to be there indefinitely and the laptop can't be used. When I try to restart then, it won't boot down either, all apps do close, but then the system is stuck with the notification stuck to the top right and the only way to make it go away is by force restarting... has anyone run into this and can share any wisdom with me? Thank you in advance!
