| | Hello guys, let's see if anyone can help me.. so, I was trying to see if I could change the refresh rate on my iMac integrated display, but the option is not showing on my system settings (1st print below). I also tried to use displayplacer via terminal but when you list the display options, after "Hertz" it says "N/A" (2nd print below). So I was wondering if it is possible to change it somehow, since I have been experiencing some flickering and I thought that, maybe, changing the refresh rate might help. My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 4850 512 MB (the original it came with). I already tried to use: ./displayplacer "id:7EACEAE3-6E58-DBB8-A146-3BB9034010B9 res:2560x1440 hz:60 color_depth:4 enabled:true scaling:off origin:(0,0) degree:0" to try and change the refresh rate, but it returns: Screen ID 7EACEAE3-6E58-DBB8-A146-3BB9034010B9: could not find res:2560x1440 hz:60 color_depth:4 scaling:off. If I try any other resolution it changes perfectly, but if I put "hz:(any number)" it returns the error of "could not find res:..." [link] [comments] |
