Installing macOS on PC: A Step-by-Step Guides
| | After updating to Sonoma 14.7.8 from 14.7.7 yesterday I observe sudden crashes an a MacPro 3.1 with OCLP 2.40. Before the MacPro 3.1 does not show these crashes and worked fine. Root patching after the update worked ok. The crashes occur when the computer was just running without any user interaction. The display then is frozen and it is not possible to shut down the computer except by pressing the power button long enough to do a forced shutdown. Looking at crash reports (see attached screenshots) it seems to be accesses to uninitialzed memory or invalid addresses / dangling pointer ? Any idea what I can do about it ? [link] [comments] |
