Mac Mini Mid 2011

Hi members,

Noob question: I have an old Mac mini (mid-2011). Could you advise which macOS version is the most compatible without sacrificing speed and performance?

I’ll mainly be using it for browsing and productivity tasks. It still works fine on the current version, but most apps can’t be installed anymore.
