As macOS Tahoe is now confirmed to be releasing in 15th September, how much longer we will wait legacy metal and non-metal GPU support on older macs?

Apple just confirmed after the event that iOS, iPadOS and macOS 26 is coming this Monday. But I wonder how much longer will it take for macOS Tahoe to work properly on older macs?
