Install new macos on old iMac is a waste of time

I wanted to try Sequoia on my 2012 iMac: everything works, but... It's incredibly slow: unbearable for any human being. It's unclear why anyone would want to install it. Luckily, I was wise and had a backup copy of the old Monterey. I have to say that deleting all the EFI junk isn't so easy, I mean, I didn't succeed.

Anyway, after half a day installing Sequoia on an old iMac, I realized one thing: it's just a waste of time.
