Screen has been like this for two hours almost

I installed Ventura and it was compatible with my MacBook Air 2014 and the download was good on my usb, restarted and followed the directions to install. It took me to the login screen in which I put in the macs password and the screen has stayed like this. I’ll give it more hours if it needs it I just want to know if it’s ok.
