NOTE: This is the NON-G version, I followed the guide on GitHub for the V5-573G, but did not do any of the NVIDIA steps.
I went to playback a video on my HDMI TV recently, and there is no digital HDMI out available, same on my HDMI monitor (which has speakers). I tried every patch and option to no avail.
I also got rid of aDummyHDA.kext and replaced virgin AppleHDA so I could try AppleALC/Lilu kexts, which work just as well as Mirone patched AppleHDA!
I have BOD3 as my HDMI audio codec I believe, instead of the required... although I did test a patched SSDT-5.aml with the correct name, to no avail
Any help greatly appreciated. This is HD4400, which supposedly works natively (with FakePCIID), I even tried FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext - no difference :-(
If anyone with similar hardware has any ideas, I would be most interested...
