Help needed: Want to build my first Hackinstosh! Purpose: professional audio work, mild gaming.

I've never done one of these before but I know about them from peers and industry acquaintances. Wan't to build a potential powerhouse that will allow me to handle large audio productions as well as run some games in acceptable settings.
