Hi, I'm trying to install High Sierra on my system, but am getting the following error once I boot into the installer and select "Install macOS High Sierra": "The recovery server could not be contacted"
Am I supposed to connect to the internet? This isn't really possible, since I need a kext to fix my ethernet (or is it possible to load kexts before the installer runs?)
I had macOS El Capitan running on this exact system 2 years ago, but I didn't have this problem. Is it worth trying to install El Captian and then somehow upgrading (I need the latest version for xcode)?
What I've tried: - Setting the date using the date command in the terminal (although the date was correct)
System Specs:
- Mobo: GA-Z77X-D3H
- CPU : Intel i5-3570
- GPU : GTX 750Ti, but I'm running the installer on integrated graphics for now
