The long and the short of it is, I can’t seem to get clover to update. Even though the installer says it has succeeded, upon reboot, my version of clover says it’s the same as it was before the update. So my conclusion is that it’s installing but not to the correct location. I have two ssds that are fused together to read as one drive so my best guess is that the installer is putting it on the wrong drive. Wherever it’s getting installed is getting the most recent version, but my boot drive certainly isn’t. And unfortunately, when I run the clover.pkg, I’m not given an option to select my installation destination. The installer just skips right over this step.
I’m thinking of trying to install the newer version of clover onto a thumb drive, along with the update from 14.1.2 to 14.1.3. Will updating in this method erase my data? Or will it patch as intended, preserving my boot drive?
Thanks!
