Booting to installer issue, on the Dell Latitude e7240 (still waiting for root device)

Hello all, I decided I wanted to create a hackintosh on my laptop and I'm getting the "still waiting for root device" issue along with obfuscated logs. The kexts I currently have running are:

• AppleALC

• FakePCIID

• FakePCIDD_XHCIMux

• FakeSMC

• Lilu

• USBInjectAll

• VoodooPS2Controller

• WhateverGreen

The laptop in question only has USB 3.0 ports, the installer USB is 2.0. so to counter this, I've tried disabling USB 3.0 controller... this did not work. I've been using only the USB with ss written on, as recommended by a guide I've been trying to follow (https://internet-install.gitbook.io/macos-internet-install/), I also tried using a USB 2.0 hub (this did not work either)
I'm pretty sure the issue lies in something to do with the usb but I'm still not really sure as I'm quite new to this

I've linked a picture of the logs below so if any of you guys can figure it out that would really be of help

Logs

It's probably something stupid and simple, but a friend of mine and I can't seem to figure this out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
